The League to Fight Neurelitism
Official Proclamation
World Day of Social Justice
bar

For Immediate Release [first published on December 21, 2008]

In November of 2007, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed February 20, 2009, as the first annual World Day of Social Justice and directed that:

The observance of the day should contribute to the further consolidation of the efforts of the international community in poverty eradication, promotion of full employment and decent work, gender equity and access to social well-being and justice for all.

In light of the frequent injustices, and high rates of poverty, experienced by the autistic community, it is an honor for The League to Fight Neurelitism to join with the United Nations, in advance of the first commemoration, by proclaiming each twentieth of February as World Day of Social Justice.

Respectfully submitted,
